Similar to the overall GPI article that comes out on the first Thursday of every month, the Ladies Global Poker Index report highlights the rankings of the best female poker players in the world, with an update released on the third Thursday of each month. You can catch up with the first edition here.
Each week, the Global Poker Index releases a list of the top tournament poker players in the world using a formula that takes into account a player’s results over six half-year periods. Here, we take a look at both the top 10 female 2018 Player of the Year standings and the ladies overall GPI rankings as of Nov. 14. 2018 Ladies GPI Player of the Year Standings

Kristen Bicknell still leads both the 2018 Ladies Player of the Year race and the ladies overall GPI rankings. She recently collected 182.48 more GPI points in the partypoker WPT Montreal C$10,300 High Roller for finishing in sixth place out of 97 runners for a payday of C$48,000 ($36,612).
That finish has helped Bicknell extend her lead over Maria Lampropulos in both races by a small margin. Amazingly, Bicknell’s partner Alex Foxen now leads the overall POY and GPI rankings, providing further fodder for their “poker power couple” designation.
